I’m Adam Hinks

I studied design under the stewardship of Craig Burston (UAL) learning the principals of good graphic design.

After working in the Midlands at numerous design agencies I settled with my family in Stroud, Glos. in 2010 and freelancing for agencies in Bristol, London, Birmingham and Manchester where I helped the BBC set up their Information Graphics department, spearheading the birth of an entire division as lead designer.

I set up one of the first rural co-working spaces in 2012 called ‘Cluster’ which was specifically designed for freelance people in media. This was a huge success and helped me to build a community of designers, photographers, writers, illustrators and more.

With community being a huge focus of the work I do, I set up an independent arts magazine for my local community called ‘Good On Paper’ in 2015 which supports the work of local artists, writers, musicians, actors, and general creatives. This magazine is now a staple of the area and thriving.
